REIKYO Privacy Policy

What We Collect

REIKYO reads sensor data (magnetometer, microphone, barometer, camera/LiDAR) only while you are actively running an investigation. This data is processed on-device and stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData.

Authentication

If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the identifiers Apple provides (user ID, optional name). We do not receive your email address unless you choose to share it. Authentication data is stored locally on your device in UserDefaults.

What We Do NOT Collect

No analytics or tracking SDKs
No server-side data storage — all data stays on your device
No advertising identifiers
No location data sent to any server (stored locally only)
No audio recordings sent off-device

Microphone & Camera

Microphone access is used for EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) audio analysis and recording. Camera and depth sensor access is used for SLS (Structured Light Sensor) spatial scanning. All processing happens on-device. Audio recordings are saved locally as .m4a files within the app's sandbox.

Location

If you grant location permission, REIKYO tags investigation sessions with your coordinates so you can review where anomalies were detected. Location data is stored only on your device and never transmitted.

Subscriptions

REIKYO Pro subscriptions and Lifetime purchases are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit. We do not process or store any payment information.

Data Deletion

You can delete any investigation session from the Sessions tab. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. There is no server-side data to delete.

Children

REIKYO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
